Article footnotes & references: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Black-Nigger’

It would be truly poetic if Arnold Schwarzenegger the dark infiltrator in the form of the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101: T-800 Terminator revealed at the birth moment of ‘Tech Noir’, translated literally as ‘Schwarz’ (Black) ‘Negger’ (Nigger). However Arnold Schwarzenegger’s last name emerges from a different source. On the ‘Straight Dope Message Board’ in November 2006, ‘Elvis1ves’ sets the record straight.

“no, it does not mean "Black Negro"
although Neger is the German word for "Negro." Nor does it mean "black
rake", although Egge is a kind of forked tool (not sure if rake is the
correct translation). That is folk etymology, not the real origin of the name
that has been localized in a mountainous area probably near a place called
Schwarzenegg for centuries.

And in a forum on the 'Etymology of the name "Schwarzenegger" WordReference.com (May 20th 2011) we are told that:

“Morphological analysis is Schwarz-en-egg-er. Egg is an Upper-German (i.e. Southern) variant of Ecke = corner, cognate to English edge. Here it carries an older meaning: a mountain-peak, -edge or -slope. An Egger is someone who lives there. Schwarz means black, schwarzen is an accusative or dative form, though the inflected form might be just schwarze in which case -n- is a kind of "glue" letter without meaning; both analyses are possible, you can't tell and it doesn't matter.”

It is therefore clear that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s place within Cyberebonic and Afrofuturist discources as the ultimate covert ‘Double-Black’, remains on hold.
