Trade Winds (1992).

A multimedia video installation comprised of up to three groups of four monitors placed in timber crates and an environment wide audio track.

Each monitor displayed a computer animation created using an Amiga Computer and mastered onto U-Matic Video tape.

The work was first exhibited at Merseyside Maritime Museum, Liverpool in August-September 1992 commissioned by Merseyside Moviola. It was produced as part of a 1992 multi-venue project ‘Trophies of Empire’. Curated by Bryan Biggs and Keith Piper, in collaboration with Arnolfini, Bristol and Hull Time Based Arts.
